Bass Drum File Folder Game for Dual Media Learners
Submitted by Samantha Zauner on Feb 18, 2018
This file folder game can be used with students with low vision who are beginning to learn braille. Dual media learners can practice the whole word contractions the, and, with, of, child, still, and to with this game where the word is matched to the corresponding dot numbers in print or braille.

Materials:
- File folder
- Adhesive braille labels
- Velcro dots
- Glue (glue sticks work the best)
- Cut out the pieces and attach Velcro if desired. Several of the pieces are blank, so you can attach the braille symbols using braille labeling adhesive (I use the product from American Printing House).
Procedure:
- Download Bass Drum File Folder Game (Word document)
- There is a Title page that can be cut out and glued to the front of the file for quick identification.
- Glue the two sheets with the characters/symbols to the inside of the folder.
- This packet also has an answer key and drumstick word cards.
