This video is part 11 of an 11-part self-paced training series called Tools to Support You in Having a Student with a Visual Impairment in Your K-6 General Education Classroom.
Orientation and mobility, more often called O&M, involves knowing where one is in space and traveling from point A to point B. In this section, you'll learn about human guide and the white cane, both commonly used by students with visual impairments. You will also get information about the role of the orientation and mobility specialist.
