Karen Borg
Karen is the Director of the Parent Infant Program Blind and Visually Impaired (PIP BVI) at Utah School for the Deaf and the Blind. She spent the first part of her career serving adults who wanted to finish high school and those who were English Language Learners. She later returned to school to complete her Early Childhood Special Education degree and completed her Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in teaching the visually impaired and her administrative certification. Karen served as both a classroom and itinerant teacher, as well as a mentor teacher, before coming to USDB. Karen enjoys reading, movies, gardening and all things Fast and Furious!
