Gloria Rodriguez-Gil and Cristi Saylor from Curlew Apps have a blog discussing educational applications. They specialize in designing in personalizing educational apps for the individual child and their most recent post on Personalized Education Apps discusses the importance of using the child's interests to create learning opportunities that are fun and motivating. They discuss their new app called the The Magical Box and include a link to a video showing how it works. They also show a video showing how to personalize the app for different adults, so that, for example, a speech therapist may create different playlists for different children she works with.
