Place Value Chart
Submitted by KC Wilson on Mar 05, 2015
Learning place value is a difficult concept and usually taught in about 3rd grade. This was a store-bought place value chart that had whole numbers up to thousands, but was adapted to include three more sections up to millions. This place value chart included tenths, hundredths and thousandths, which was a bonus in teaching place value.
The other adaptation was a fraction puzzle available at teaching stores or through on-line teaching sources. Sometimes they are available in magnetic form too. These too were brailled.
