Storynory is an online treasure-trove of free audio stories, offering a mixture of original stories, fairytales, and specially adapted myths and histories, as well as a sprinkling of poems and verse. They have published a free audio story every week since November 2005, and now around half a million mp3 files are downloaded every month from their servers. Services such as iTunes make it easy to transfer their audio onto iPods and other portable players.
