Free Slate and Stylus
Submitted by Charlotte Cushman on May 18, 2014

NFB (National Federation of the Blind) is offering a free slate and stylus to anyone in the United States who is blind, and requests can be made as often as once each year. There is an application form available online: http://freeslates.nfb.org/
The slate and stylus are a portable way to write braille, similar to a pencil and paper. Learn more here.
