Pediatricians Help to Promote Reading Aloud

The American Academy of Pediatrics has announced that they will help to promote reading aloud to young children, from birth to three. Recognizing how important the first three years of life are in brain development, the pediatrics group is asking its members to become advocates of early literacy and reading aloud. This is the first time that the Academy has officially endorsed Early Literacy.
